The Challenge
LMCT+, a leading player in the automotive and lifestyle membership space, approached us to evolve their Partners & Discounts system – a core value proposition for their members. The challenge was two-fold: improve the user experience of browsing and redeeming partner offers, and work within an existing tech stack that spanned both WordPress and Laravel. Initially scoped as a WordPress project, we soon uncovered that the backend content management for offers was actually handled through a Laravel-based system. This pivot required cross-platform adaptability and a UI solution that could bridge both environments seamlessly.
Solution
We began by analysing comparable ecosystems such as Uber Eats and major loyalty platforms, focusing on how they structure categories, showcase partners, and communicate value quickly. This research formed the basis for wireframing a clear and intuitive journey that made partner discovery frictionless.
Design-wise, we worked within the existing WordPress theme we had originally developed for LMCT+, ensuring visual continuity while pushing the UX forward. The result was a high-fidelity prototype and flexible component system that could be handed off for implementation into Laravel. Our frontend direction became the bridge between two stacks – elevating the partner system’s usability without disrupting LMCT+’s core infrastructure.
Project Outcome
A Stronger System, Built to Scale
The updated partner system was successfully integrated within LMCT+’s existing theme and launched to members with immediate impact. In the months following, their internal team built upon our framework, aligning it with their refreshed brand language and scaling the experience even further. While we laid the foundation, our work created a springboard for future evolution – blending design strategy, technical agility, and UX insight to support one of Australia’s largest giveaway platforms.
