Overview

Benzina Stables is a Melbourne-based destination for luxury and collector vehicles, offering premium storage, sales and private events. They engaged us to overhaul their existing website and deliver a purpose-built digital platform that could support both a refined client experience and the complex operational requirements of managing high-value vehicles at scale.

The project extended well beyond a marketing website, requiring a fully integrated system for member subscriptions, vehicle inventory, and staff workflows, all delivered through a custom WordPress solution.

The Challenge

Benzina needed a single platform that could manage multiple vehicles per owner, track vehicles moving in and out of storage, and support real-world operational processes. This included condition reporting with photographic evidence, optional service requests such as washing and battery charging, and clear status updates for both members and staff.

The system also needed to be intuitive for staff to use daily, scalable beyond 100 vehicles, and flexible enough to support future operational requirements, all while maintaining a discreet, premium user experience.

Solution

I led the UX and UI direction and worked closely with developers to design and deliver a fully custom WordPress platform tailored to Benzina’s needs. The front-end experience was designed to be clean, restrained and easy to navigate, while the underlying system was purpose-built to handle complex workflows.

The design approach focused on clarity first, using minimal, well-paced layouts, clear diagrams and consistent visual language that supported fast comprehension on site, while still reflecting Schiavello’s refined brand.

The solution included a member dashboard allowing owners to manage profiles, view multiple vehicles, submit requests and track vehicle status. On the admin side, a custom staff dashboard was developed to manage vehicle intake and release, log condition reports with photo verification, process service requests, and update vehicle status in real time. Structured forms and automated workflows were implemented to reduce manual handling and improve operational clarity.

Project Outcome

The result is a dual-purpose digital platform that functions as both a premium client interface and a robust operational system. Benzina Stables now has a centralised platform to manage memberships, vehicles and services efficiently, reducing manual workload and improving visibility across operations.

The system supports complex workflows at scale while remaining easy for staff to use within a familiar CMS environment. It provides a scalable digital foundation that supports Benzina’s ongoing growth and reflects the precision and care applied to every vehicle in their custody.
